Part 1
Valuing Motherhood
The Constitution is our campfire. Around this focal point, we stand united. The Constitution is the authority upon which this great nation was established when our forefathers agreed to this position of truth between us. Because we have free will under the Constitution, a Christian can openly worship God and praise Jesus with public testimony. Our forefathers were motivated to escape religious repression.
In a free nation, everyone can have a voice. If it were not for the freedom to make spiritual decisions, we would not be a free people. Our flag equally waves red and blue. No matter the political temperature, we are all in this together. We will suffer a collective sorrow if we do not vote for freedom.
Our collective truth, the Constitution, establishes freedom of thought and liberty for all citizens. Thus, our values are built upon the trust that voters, judges, and politicians will honor our Constitution: the umbrella that equally connects and protects all citizens.
~ Citizenship ~
Voters and politicians have a place of belonging. Our citizenship unites us. However, this sense of belonging corrupts when a religious rite feels entitled to picket a moral agenda at the expense of a pregnant woman—denying her Citizen rights, liberty and freedom. When the worth of a citizen is undermined—if her body becomes property and her voice silenced—ALL voters suffer a loss of freedom and liberty.
According to the Oxford dictionary, liberty is the state of being free within a society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one’s way of life, behavior, or political views.
The very idea of banning a doctor’s ability to nourish a patient and care for her health, is demeaning to both: doctors and women. Our campfire is fading. If the Constitution is not kept going, there will be a cold darkness in this nation.
When our agreement flips like a pancake,
we have an argument between us!
Can we live in this free nation, and not use our freedom to demean or seek to take dominion?
Do you want your granddaughter to grow up in a nation that demoralizes her gender? It is not only absurd, it is unjust that ALL women’s cycles and pregnancies could become publicly monitored rather than the sweet, intimate natural unfoldment that many feel God intended! If the desire to become a mother is no longer cherished and sacred, what will become of motherhood?
Genesis 2.7, the first breath of life is when a human becomes a living soul. After birth, if the baby does not start to breathe, the baby is declared stillborn—born dead. It never was a living human being or it would have had a social security number and taxes and it would have counted as a person to justify driving in the express lane.
~ Trust ~
What happens if we no longer agree to value our Constitution?
By definition, trust is a firm belief in the truth of someone. With our Constitution, we are empowered and strengthened to think for ourselves. We uplift one another when we trust one another. Your vote does matter!
When it comes to politics, ethical voters vote for ethical leadership.
Voters who are prejudiced against pregnant women are oftentimes the same voters who proudly support DonOld, a convicted rapist, to run for a potential second term on the ballot for president!
Should a twice-impeached former president,
found guilty and criminally charged in several courts, for
rape, tax fraud, and 34 felony counts
for having paid hush money to hide his extramarital cheating,
be allowed to run again for the office of our Nation’s most esteemed position?
Acting entitled and above the law, dismissing the Constitution, DonOld has shown us that he is without virtue. Any attempt to vindicate him is to spit in the face of our judicial system. His moral compass spins to say whatever he thinks will win him a better position; after all, there was a day when he advocated for abortion!
Allowing voters the freedom to decide if they agree to having a convicted felon, DonOld, represent the values of the United States, is no different than allowing a pregnant woman the freedom to decide about abortion. Indeed, both deeds may feel immoral, but it is not our job to shackle the heart of humanity.
Democracy uplifts the people.
We the People set up a free land on the principle of freedom for all.
But if truth and justice no longer matter, then we citizens have no trust between us. Together, we decide the principles that unite us. To forgo our Constitutional values is to invoke violence.
~ Our Democracy ~
Former president DonOld highlighted a lack of virtue in our nation. But we can unite, we can pivot to value our Constitution. Unless the ethical fabric of the United States has completely unraveled, we will vote for truth over lies, we will vote for liberty and freedom over a retraction of free will.
Because we honor the Constitution, we citizens have autonomy, free speech, and the right to decide our own moral path. A democratic nation values social equality.
In a free land, everyone has a voice. Voters, citizens, vote by word and deed. We each make contributions to the world in which we want to live. If it were not for the freedom of this great nation, we could not openly discuss how we feel about the horrors of war and abortion.
~ Our Values ~
Whereas, in a dictatorship, only one authoritarian voice, a ruler, rules while demanding that followers unquestioningly follow rules. A lack of freedom can be seen as an antiquated idea out of the Old Testament playbook. Back then, God ordered the murder of babies and supported the raping of virgins.
But the New Testament God is a God of love, freedom, and trust. Jesus’ sole message was love and he exampled that with the woman at the well who was not only forgiven, but free to go and make moral choices.
Exactly from where do we draw to establish our values?
